Dr. Wu is a board-certified pediatric dentist and assistant professor in the Department of Pediatric Dentistry at UTHealth School of Dentistry at Houston.
She earned her DDS and a master’s degree in endodontics from Anhui Medical University in China, followed by a PhD in dental public health from the University of Hong Kong. In 2013, she completed a master of science degree and certificate in pediatric dentistry at the University of Michigan. She joined the UTSD faculty in 2014.
Aside from her teaching activities, she is passionate about patient care and community service. She oversees undergraduate dental students during their pediatric dentistry clinical rotations and also cares for patients at UTHealth Dentistry Southwest inside the Texas Children’s Health Plan Center for Children and Women, 9700 Bissonnet St. in Houston.
