Roger Arce-Munoz, DDS, MS, PhD, has joined UT Dentists, the faculty group practice at UTHealth School of Dentistry at Houston. He sees periodontal patients on Thursdays from 8 a.m. to noon in Suite 1210.
Dr. Arce-Munoz attended Universidad del Valle in Cali, Colombia, where he earned a doctorate of dental surgery in 2000 and a master's in pharmacology and periodontology in 2005. After moving to the U.S., he obtained a doctorate in oral biology in 2011 and a specialty certificate in periodontology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Dentistry in 2013.
Dr. Arce-Munoz’s clinical interests include moderate conscious sedation, dental implants, hard/soft tissue grafting, and computer-guided surgery. He is board certified by the American Board of Periodontology and Implant dentistry, American Academy of Periodontology, International Association for Dental Research, and the Hispanic Dental Association.
Dr. Arce-Munoz is fluent in English and Spanish.
