Making an Appointment
To become a new patient at UTHealth Dentistry Greenspoint, please call our office. We are open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
We look forward to meeting your oral health needs!
Please plan to arrive for your appointment at least 15 minutes early so that all paperwork can be completed in a timely manner. For pediatric appointments, the parent or legal guardian of the patient MUST accompany the patient for all appointments.
If you arrive more than 15 minutes past your scheduled appointment time, you may be rescheduled so other patients are not inconvenienced.
We request at least 24 hours’ notice if you must cancel or reschedule an appointment. Treatment may be discontinued if you repeatedly cancel and/or fail to appear for appointments.
To better assist in your comprehensive oral evaluation and treatment as a new patient, please download, print and complete the following forms prior to your appointment:
- Child Patient Registration Form (English)
- Child Patient Registration Form (Spanish)
- New Patient Medical History Form
- New Adult Patient Registration Form
- Failed Appointment Policy
You are strongly encouraged to bring along pertinent dental records, X-rays, etc. for you and your children (if applicable), especially if you’re seeking a second opinion. It is extremely important that the first visit be a positive and enjoyable one. We will review and record your dental and medical history. You will receive a complete oral exam, which will include a careful visual evaluation of the teeth and oral tissues, and X-rays if necessary for a complete diagnosis. We will also do a thorough cleaning of your teeth.
For parents bringing in children for their first visit, we will discuss our findings with you and explain how a good dental/oral health program will help your child have a healthy and beautiful smile for life. Along with the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the American Academy of Pediatrics, we recommend that children have their first dental visit by their 1st birthday.
You will receive an appointment-reminder phone call or email 2-3 days prior to your scheduled appointment.
